Reunion Day for         Eagle Wings
	Reunion Day I come today to the city and state of my birth - Carthage, Missouri, to heal my broken family circle and restore fellowship with them. I come to Missouri knowing what my spirit has always told me - that I am, in fact, of Cherokee heritage.  My own personal Trail of Tears has lasted over twenty years. It brings me to this place, in Celebration. I come to this Celebration reunion not only for myself. I carry this day in my heart pocket, all of those who have searched and longed for reunion with their birth family, but never found them. I speak to their weary beings, Hope, Love, a message to never give up searching. Persist. You never know. Your miracle of finding your family might be right around the next corner!     I come today to HONOR my ancestors who walked The Trail of Tears, who suffered agony beyond anything I can imagine. For the past four years I have set my heart and mind to learning the traditions, faith, and teachings of my ancestors, so that I may pass this on to my children, grandchildren, and to their children and grandchildren. May the sacrifices of my Ancestors NEVER BE IN VAIN or FORGOTTEN!!!      I want to live as TSALAGI, honoring all things, all people, Mother Earth as SACRED! Today I bless the land of my ancestors. I stand for them and speak forgiveness to those who stripped our lands, our peoples' spirits from them. I ask for healing peace to quiet all the Ancient Ones whose spirits still mourn, I ask Creator for healing, for peace, for restoration, and for blessings here this miracle day! I come home to stand as TSALAGI today, to take my rightful place beside my Ancestors, and my birth family. I honor Creator for all the blessings that have been gifted us to make this journey possible. This journey has been made in the spirit of healing our family's broken circle that we might pass on to our future generations the TSALAGI Way. May Creator help us to live lives of honor, to show all our relations respect, compassion, and love. May we nurture and protect Mother Earth so she may heal. May we teach our grandchildren to walk in a good way and care for all our relations and all of Life - Earth, Sky,Waters, Forests, Mountains, Fourleggeds, Winged Ones, Swimmers, and Crawlies. For in walking this path, we honor the circle of life and Creator who gives us the gift of life. Aho (AMEN)                             You CAN find your way back home!!!!          That is my story after 35 years of searching Creator brought the right people across my path to help me fulfill my deepest longings of re-connecting to my Heritage and my Birth Family! Though all 12 of my siblings are in their fifties, as I, we have been reconnected as a Family and to our Cherokee Heritage! It is our goal here to re-connect us to Our People, their ways, their wisdom, and in turn pass these things on to our Future Generations!
