Fox Dreamer
We hope all of you and your families
are safe and recovering from the
recent hurricanes.  We know that
several of you have had a direct
impact on your lives from these
storms.  Our prayers are with you and
your families as you rebuild your
houses, jobs , and lives.
We are looking for someone currently
who would like to help with the
newsletter.  Anyone who has ideas to
add to the letter such as legends that
grandparents told you, or current world
news pertaining to us as a tribe would
be a great idea.  As always any old
family recipes are welcome.
Next year we are going to have our
gathering in the same place and
around the same date.  It will be at Fort
Borst Park in Centralia, Washington
the weekend of July 16th.  If the 16th
falls on a weekday then we will get
together the weekend before or the
weekend after the 16th. It will not be a
pow wow but just a gathering of all of
us getting together to share food ,
music, stories, friendship, and
laughter.  Bring the entire family as
everyone is welcome.  As a reminder,
at all such events there is no alcoholic
beverages allowed.  Please respect
that.
The quarterly meeting of the town
council that was cancelled by the
hurricanes will be rescheduled soon.
Those wishing to attend are more than
welcome.  The time and place will be
announced as soon as we have
rescheduled.
If you haven’t already done so you
may want to check out our website.
This is  the address.

Council member of the month
   Charles Kasicki

We have decided to start featuring
people in our newsletters so that all of
us gets to know each other a little
better. This month it is Charles
Kasicki.
Charles is presently the chairman of
the Far Northwestern Town Council.
He and his wife Janet live in north west
Washington.  They have a love of
horses and dogs.  Since they live in
the country this works well for them.
Charles crafts knives of a very
excellent degree.  He also makes a
sheath for each blade so that the knife
doesn’t fall out and get lost by
accident.  The woods he works with for
the handles also turn out beautifully.
He is very good at his craft.
He and Janet both bring good
questions and a few answers to the
table.  They have helped all of us to
consider the legal aspects of what we
can  and cannot do as far as raising
money for the tribe and the town as
well.
 We really appreciate their teamwork
and their friendship.  Their family
makes things run a little smoother and
helps find ways around the little bumps
in the road.
